Join Center Stage Dance Studio for an exciting 3-day Hip Hop Intensive featuring special guest instructors and Center Stage’s instructor and choreographer KG Brown. This immersive experience is designed for dancers who want to strengthen their foundations, expand their movement vocabulary, explore hip hop culture, and grow as performers.

Whether you're a competitive dancer, recreational dancer, or simply love hip hop, this intensive will challenge and inspire you through technique classes, choreography, freestyle training, and cultural education.

Meet the Faculty

KG Brown: Center Stage's Hip Hop Instructor & Choreographer

KG Brown teaches many of Center Stage's hip hop classes and choreographs throughout our competitive and recreational programs. Known for her high-energy classes and commitment to helping dancers build confidence, musicality, and performance quality, KG brings years of experience training dancers of all ages and levels.

Joshua Carr: Guest Instructor – Krump, Freestyle & Hip Hop Culture

Joshua Carr is a movement artist, educator, and community leader from Charlotte, NC. After co-founding Entropy Dance Crew in 2011, Joshua moved to Los Angeles, where he spent five years training, performing, choreographing, and building his professional career within the street dance community. He trained with influential Krump pioneers and developed a deep understanding of Hip Hop culture and movement.

Today, Joshua serves as an Adjunct Professor at UNC Charlotte, where he teaches Foundations of Hip Hop and Krump pedagogy, covering history, culture, technique, terminology, and philosophy. He also leads Queen City Krump Labs and regularly teaches workshops throughout North Carolina.

Logan Jones: Guest Instructor – House & Hip Hop Choreography

Logan Jones is a dance instructor, choreographer, and performer with extensive experience teaching, competing, and leading dance programs throughout North Carolina. A former President of Entropy Dance Crew and graduate of Appalachian State University, Logan has taught hip hop classes for both recreational and competitive dancers and has choreographed for performances, showcases, and studio programs.

She currently teaches weekly line dancing classes with attendance regularly exceeding 200 participants while continuing to share her passion for movement and community through dance.
